Periodically IsoStock may require updating, particullarly after a request for new features or after a bug fix.
Your subscription entitles you to the latest build/bug fix/release.
Where a new release contains any new features, these will default to ‘no access’ and need manually enabling for the relevant users if the site wishes to use them.
The update procedure can be performed for you as part of your Subscription agreement, or the files can be supplied via a web download.
Please email us with your appropriate IT contact for any update request, and we can liaise directly with your IT department or the local system owner, that may be able the perform the update.
Our preferred remote support uses LogMeIn Rescue initiated by the user via our website, though we can accommodate other tools and methods.
Locking IsoStock
IsoStock has a built in function for disabling access for all users.
This can be performed using Setup – System lockout.
Tick the Force all users to exit and restrict login option, optionally enter a message to show to users attempting to login, and click OK.
To re-enable access, untick the option.
While IsoStock is locked, only the supervisor will be able to login. The login screen automatically closes within 5 seconds for any users.
