This option configures the use of pre-defined comments and further information, with optional parameters, that can be recorded against Open and Select Sources.
There are a number of built-in options that can be selected from, or you can add your own options.
From the Setup option on the main menu
- Select Default free text transactions
Add a new default text
- Click Add a free text
- Enter a Name
- Add a Formated description and additional parameter details in the Parameter 1, 2 & 3 box
Example: Enter “Radiochemical purity #1%” in the description box and “Purity %” in Parameter 1
- Tick to enable as required fields
- Tick to Use on open source
- Tick to Use on sealed Source
- Select from a drop-down menu to position on the list; At the top, In the 2nd group, In the 3rd group
- Click OK
Edit an existing
This can be used to edit your own options, or to switch a built-in option on/off.
- Highlight the free text to edit
- Click Edit this free text
- Edit as required (identical to adding new text)
- Click OK
Edit an existing
This can be used to delete your own options.
- Highlight the free text to delete
- Click Delete this free text
- Click OK
