Edit Security Levels

IsoStock is configured with default security levels appropriate for your industry/usage.

The security screen allows you to Add Security Levels, as well as Copy, Edit, Promote, Demote and Delete.

  • From the main menu, select Setup, then select Security

To Add a new level

  • Select Add a new level
  • Enter a Name for the security level
  • Highlight the Area of the system from the left-hand menu; general, requests etc.
  • Tick the options required from the right-hand menu; create a new request, edit a new request etc.
  • Repeat for each Area of the system
  • On each area you have the option to Select all and compare with another security level

To Copy a new level

  • Highlight the level to copy
  • Select Copy a level
  • Enter a Name for the security level
  • Highlight the Area of the system from the left-hand menu, review and edit as required
  • Tick/untick the options required from the right-hand menu, review and edit as required.
  • Repeat for each area of the system
  • On each area, you have the option to Select all and compare with another security level

To Edit a level

  • Highlight the level to edit
  • Select Edit this level
  • Edit Name if required
  • Highlight the Area of the system from the left-hand menu, review and edit as required
  • Tick/untick the options required from the right-hand menu, review and edit as required.
  • Repeat for each area of the system
  • On each area, you have the option to Select all and compare with another security level

Promote or Demote a level

  • Highlight the security level
  • Select Promote or Demote to move the level up/down

Delete a level

  • Highlight the level
  • Select Delete this level
  • Click OK

A user can print details or what each level has access to using the Print option by highlighting a level or using the Print all option.

Exportable to PDF/Excel/CSV/Clipboard to Excel/Word/email
