Generators and Eluates

This option is used to view generators and their respective eluates.

The option displays:

Referenceunique reference number of the generator
Namename of the generator
Receiveddate generator received
Activitycurrent decay corrected activity
Batch Numberbatch number of the generator
Lot numberlot number of the generator
Expiresexpiry date of the generator

Notes for the highlighted generator are displayed including any consumables that have been attached.

While a generator is highlighted, details about the Eluates and remaining activity/quantity are displayed in the bottom table.

Generate / Elution

This option records an elution from a generator.

The first screen allows you to select a planned item to record. If you need to elute an un-planned item, you can use the Elute without plan button.

The details that are entered:

Date/timewhen the generator was eluted
For departmentthe department which owns the eluate
For userthe user who owns the eluate
Protocol/licencethe protocol or licence under which the eluate will be used
Projectthe project or study the eluate is for (optional)
Consider this as “in-use”when diluting/synthesising, the final eluate can be considered either as “in-use” (ticked) or as a new “stock” item (un-ticked)
Locationwhere the eluate will be used/kept
Dispenseruser taking the eluate
Checkeruser checking the elution
New activitythe measured activity in the eluate
Pre weightoptional weight of empty vial
Post weightoptional weight of full vial
New quantitythe quantity in the eluate
New conc.the concentration of the eluate
New spec actthe specific activity of the new compound
New Cat. Codethe catalogue or internal product number for the eluate
New compoundthe name/details of the eluate
Material addedthe details of any material added (optional)
New refthe unique reference code for the sub-sample
Lab-book nothe reference code of the work being done (optional)
Expiresthe date at which the sub-sample will no longer be of use

IsoStock will compare the measured activity against the calculated yield based on previous elution times, and warn where these are outside of tolerance.

Attach a Consumable

This option attaches a non-radioactive / pharmaceutical consumable to the generator.

You first need to select the consumable being attached. There is search option that can filter by name, reference or batch number.

Enter the date/time that the item was attached, and the user recording. Enter the quantity being attached.

Free Text Note

This option allows the user to record a single line free text note/comment.

The note is date/timed marked along with the user who added it.

Additional Detail

This option adds additional details / notes from a set of predefined templates with/or without parameters.

Select the type of note, and add the parameter values where applicable.

Edit This Elution

This option edits a previously recorded elution.

You will not be able to edit an elution that has been subsequently used

Remove Consumable

This option removes a previously attached consumable.

Prints a label for the currently highlighted eluate. Label formats can be configured within Setup – Label formats.
