Allows the user to manage a list of protocols or internal licences. All compounds and sub-samples can be allocated to one of the defined protocols.
The screen displays a list of protocols with their reference code and risk factor.
The Risk Factor is used in conjunction with Special Units (see Preferences) for Permits (in particular European)
Add a Protocol / Licence
Allows the user to add a new protocol.
The details that are entered are:
| Name | the name or description of the protocol or licence |
| Reference | the short reference code for the protocol |
| In-use risk factor | the factor for adjusting the activity when compounds are in-use |
| Protocol/licence is active | whether the protocol is available on the compound and usage screens |
Edit This Protocol/Licence
Allows the user to edit the protocol details. It is identical in operation to Add a protocol/licence
Delete This Protocol / Licence
Allows the user to delete an unused protocol. Note that you cannot delete a protocol if it has ever been used.
