This option is for configuring monitors and their sensitivity for each Nuclide. Monitors are used during Waste Analysis to calculate the activity.
A list of monitors is displayed showing:
| Serial | serial number assigned to the meter |
| Name | name of the meter |
Add a meter
Allows the user to add a new meter or monitor.
The details that must be entered are:
| Name | name of the meter |
| Serial | serial number assigned to the meter |
| Nuclides | enter the sensitivity (in cps/MBq) for each nuclide that the meter can detect |
| Meter is active | hide the meter from future entry |
Edit this meter
Allows the user to make changes to a meter, or it’s sensitivities. It is identical in operation to Add a meter.
Delete this meter
Allows the user to delete a meter that is not in use.
If you retire a meter you can mark it as inactive so that it is not shown on subsequent data entry.
Editing names and serial numbers will be reflected in historical records. Sensitivity changes only affect new entries or while editing a historical record.
