Sets further options for how the system behaves in day-to-day use.
The option is divided into eight tabbed areas.
General:
| Base units | units to be used for all summary activities across application |
| Currency | currency to use when displaying cost |
| Date format | date format system used when displaying dates |
| Special activity | some Permits have secondary calculations for ALI, Equivalent MBq, R, Re |
| Site RPO | the user with overall responsibility for the site (receives warnings when logging in) |
| Login passwords | if Unique IDs are recorded against the users, this acts similarly to single sign-on (SSO) |
| Enable remote support | enable the LogMeIn Rescue Connect button on the Technical Support screen |
| Maximum items in lists | on sites with large numbers of items, lists can be limited to aid with performance |
| Authorisation code required for requests | whether the user is forced to enter an authorisation code when approving requests |
| Default request dates to tomorrow | while adding a new Request, the date is set to tomorrow |
| Check holding limits while authorising requests | forces a holding limit check during authorisation |
| Include department waste in accumulated waste screen | list waste within the department as additional items within Accumulated Waste screen (purely visual and cannot be interacted with) |
| Include unique ID in user names | adds the Unique ID in brackets to the end of the username |
| Include requests in holding limit checks | where requests are routinely authorised, they can be automatically included in future holding limit checks |
| Include radiopharmacy requests in holding limit checks | if not using the orders options, very short half-lives can impact these calculations, so can be included/excluded as appropriate |
Warnings:
| Maximum forward dates | the furthest a date in advance that will be accepted when making entries (option subject to Security setting) |
| Maximum past dates | the furthest date in the past that will be accepted when making entries. This also restricts the age of data that can be edited (option subject to Security setting) |
| Default expiry date | the default period to use for an expiry date when it is not specified |
| Warn holding at | the percentage at which to start warning when approaching the holding limits |
| Warn disposals at | the percentage at which to start warning when approaching the disposal limits |
| Warn accumulation at | the percentage at which to start warning when approaching the accumulation limits |
| Warn sealed sources at | sealed sources are often ‘number of’. Setting 100% will remove any warnings when you have, e.g. 9 of 10 allowed |
| Force default test/check times | whether the user must use the defaults or if they can enter their own times when dealing with sealed sources |
| Perform leak test every | the default time for how often a leak test is required |
| Check whether in location every | the default time for how often a source’s location must be checked |
| Perform calibration every | the default time for how often a source must be calibrated |
| Prefix exported waste references with | when transferring waste between sites, a prefix can be added to ensure that the waste is uniquely identifiable from the second site if they are using similar reference codes |
| Highlight waste for collection after | the number of days after which waste is highlighted as overdue collection |
Waste analysis:
The columns on this tab set the defaults for what is displayed on the Accumulated Waste/Additional Analysis page.
Dates:
| Expiry dates/times | options available on the […] button during entry of new sources and sub-samples |
| For reference point use | the date to use as a base for the expiry times |
| For new compounds | the date/time to use as a reference date/time |
| For dose administration | the date/time to use as the dose date/time during administration |
| For new sealed sources | the date/time to use as a reference date/time for new sealed sources |
| Default order arrival time | the default time to use for new orders and calculating limits |
Radiopharmacy:
| Manufacture within specification | the tolerance to apply between the activity and specification during manufacture |
| Dispensing within target | the tolerance between the activity and target activity |
| Nuclear medicine dosing within | the tolerance between the activity and the DRL during dose administration |
| ARSAC activity | hard maximum at the DRL level during dose administration |
| Multidose extra activity | the default for the quick add extra button during multidose requests |
| Planned time of manufacture | the default time for all planning decay calculations |
| Start time for defaults | the start time on date pickers |
| Minutes between each default | the period between each entry on pickers |
| End time for defaults | the end time on date pickers |
| For multi-dose and pots show only base times | on the date pickers for mutli-dose Requests only show manufacture time and start time as choices, and not the start/interval/end selection above |
| When defaulting to tomorrow ignore weekends | whether Friday links to Saturday, or Monday |
| Default department for entries relating to | when opening Nuclear Medicine and Radiopharmacy screens the lists can be filtered to the specific departments |
| Automatic label printing | specifies the default label that should be printed automatically during each process |
| Dose naming | compound records created in the process of Dose Administration can include/exclude the patient name |
| Dose prep | restrict the Dose Administration to only allow dosing from prepped items if it is a multi-dose |
| Dose admin | only show items in dose areas by default |
Manufacture:
This tab configures which manufacture processes are available on the ARSAC setup screen and Radiopharmacy Planning.
| Manufacture from eluate and cold kit | an eluate is selected during manufacture |
| Manufacture from intermediate | an intermediate stock is selected during manufacture |
| Manufacture from assayed stock | an assay received stock is selected during manufacture |
| Manufacture from stock | any stock (no assay required) is selected during manufacture |
| Manufacture from assayed hot kit | an assayed bought in kit is selected during manufacture |
| Manufacture from hot kit | any bought in kit (no assay required) is selected during manufacture |

Units:
The tab configures which units are available for activity, quantity and specific activity in new entries.
The units are displayed in the order configured on this screen.
There is an option to specify that the top unit is to be automatically selected by default on new entries.
The Check Data buttons will check which units are in use in your data and can be added to the list.
Miscellaneous:
| Automatically display pictures | specify whether photo/picture attachments are automatically shown on single-item views |
