Compounds

Allows the user to enter a list of commonly used compounds which are then available on Requests, Orders and Compound receipt screens. The user can then optionally select a compound from this list to enter the default information.

The screen shows a list of compounds detailing:

Codeunique suppliers code
Namethe compound name or description
Nuclidethe nuclide it contains
Activitythe default activity and units
Quantitythe default quantity and units
Rad concthe default concentration and units
Spec actthe default specific activity and units
Sub codeaddition code for pack size

There is a drop-down for displaying only the compounds from a selected supplier.

Add a Compound

Allows the user to add a new compound to the list.

The details that can be entered are:

Supplierwho supplies the compound
Catalogue codethe supplier’s unique reference code, plus an optional text for pack size if non-unique
Namename or description of the compound
Nuclidethe nuclide it contains
Activitythe default activity that is supplied
Quantitythe default quantity that is supplied
Concentrationthe default concentration that is supplied
Spec actthe default specific activity that is supplied
Costthe default code
List this compound in a section at the topwhere to list the compound in the list, a section is available at the top for commonly used compounds

The activity, quantity etc., can be left blank, allowing the user to enter the required amount when the compound is selected. When compounds are supplied at a number of activities, they can be duplicated, and the second part of the catalogue code can be used to identify the different activities.

Add a Synthesised Compound

When creating a synthesised sub-sample, the defaults can be selected from the compounds list.

This works as per the Add a Compound above, but does not have a supplier, but includes the default material added.

View/Edit This Compound

Allows the user to edit the details of a compound. It is identical in operation to Add new compound

Delete This Compound

Allows the user to delete a compound that is no longer used.

Prints the list of compounds displayed.

The list can be filtered by all or individual suppliers

Details include: Reference Code, Compound name, Nuclide, Activity, Quantity, Radioactive concentration, Specific Activity

Exportable to PDF/Excel/CSV/Clipboard to Excel/Word/email
