Enter a New Order

A blank New Order screen will be displayed, which needs to be completed

Order numberunique order reference number
Suppliers order numberany reference number provided by the supplier (optional)
Date/time orderedwhen the order was made (will auto-fill with current date/time)
Ordered bywho placed the order (will default to current user)
Date expectedwhen the compounds are expected to be delivered
Supplierthe supplier of the compounds
Addressthe address of the supplier (optional)
Contactthe contact for the supplier (optional)

Compounds can then be added to the order by one of two methods.

Add an Authorised Request

A list of all authorised requests is provided, and the user can select the required request. Once selected, the initial details for the order are taken from the request.

The details can be confirmed/adjusted:

Referenceunique reference for the compound
Projectthe project or study number that the compound is for (free text / optional)
Protocol/licencethe protocol or licence under which the compound will be used
Catalogue codethe manufacturers/suppliers’ catalogue number for the compound
Compoundthe name/details of the compound
Radionuclidethe radionuclide that the compound contains
Deliver tothe location to which the compound is to be delivered
Costthe cost of the compound (optional)
Reference date/timethe reference/activity date for the compound (optional)
Activitythe activity being ordered
Quantitythe quantity being ordered
Concentrationthe concentration being order
Calculatewhich of the values is being calculated from the other two
Spec actthe specific activity being ordered (optional)
Notesany further notes (optional)

The On Delivery fields will calculate the activity at the time of delivery if the expected date has been entered on the previous screen.

Add Non-Requested Compound

Allows the user to add other compounds not originally requested to the order.

The details that can be entered are:

Referencethe unique reference code of the compound
Departmentthe department the compound is for
Ordered forthe user the compound is for
Projectthe project or study that the compound is for (free text / optional)
Protocol/licencethe protocol or licence under which the compound will be used
Catalogue codethe manufacturers/suppliers’ catalogue code of the compound
Compoundthe name/details of the compound
Radionuclidethe radionuclide that the compound contains
Costthe cost of the compound (optional)
Deliver tothe location to which the compound is to be delivered
Reference date/timethe reference/activity date of the compound (optional)
Activitythe activity being ordered
Quantitythe quantity being ordered
Concentrationthe concentration being ordered
Calculatewhich of the values is to be calculated from the other two

Confirm

Once the order is confirmed, a unique order number will be issued (if applicable), and all compounds will also be given unique reference numbers (if applicable).
