IsoStock can be used to record the details of all open and sealed sources. Sealed sources are managed using the Sealed Sources option on the Sealed Sources menu.
From the Sealed Sources option
- Select Sealed sources
- Select Add new source
- Enter details
- Click OK – on saving, the sealed source is automatically allocated a reference code.
To move the source:
- Select Move this source from the side menu
- Enter new location details
- Click OK – on saving, the movement is recorded as a transaction against the source.
Use the Recent Moves button to pre-fill with the details of a recently made move
When entering sealed sources, you can specify the frequency of:
1. Leak tests
2. Location checks
3. Calibration checks
IsoStock highlights the source in red to indicate actions are due. You can record that a test or check has been carried out by selecting the options; Perform leak test, Check source location, Calibration (from the left-hand menu).
Once completed, the details are recorded as a transaction, shown at the bottom of the screen
