Provides access to all the main functions that can be performed on individual sealed sources.

Add a New Source

Allows the user to enter new sealed sources, including sources housed within equipment, where both details can be recorded.

The information that can be recorded is:

Referencethe unique code for the source
Suppliername of source supplier

View/Edit This Source

Allows the user to see all the details and make edits if required.

Copy Source

Allows the user to make a copy of all the details of an existing sources and edit/add new details at the same time. Details generally specific to a source (eg. serial number) will be blanked.

Copy Multiple Sources

Allows the user to make multiple copies of an existing source, adding the serial number, reference date/time and activity of each copy. Each source will be given a new unique reference code.

Move This Source

Allows the user to record the movement of a source between different locations. Within the same function, the department and owner can also be changed.

The date/time and who moved the source is recorded.

There is an option to select from a drop-down menu that lists recent moves to aid quicker data entry.

This option can also be used to allocate an external owner where sources are kept for 3rd parties.

Perform Leak Test

The user can record leak tests against an individual source.

The date/time is recorded together with the user undertaking the test and a passed/failed outcome.

There is a free text box used to record a Report number.

The next leak test date will be automatically updated.

Check Source Location

The user can record location checks against an individual source.

The date/time is recorded together with the user undertaking the check.

There is a free text box used to record a Note/comment.

The next location check date will be automatically updated.

Calibration

The user can record calibration tests against an individual source.

The date/time is recorded together with the user undertaking the test and a passed/failed outcome.

There is a free text box used to record a Cert number.

The next calibration date will be automatically updated.

Transfer Off-Site

The user can record that an individual source has been transferred off-site. The date/time is recorded together with the user making the transfer.

There is a list of pre-configured sites to record the transfer to, or company name, address, contact, and reference can be manually entered where applicable. Sites are added in Setup – Non waste transfer sites.

Dispose to Container

The user can record the disposal of an individual source into a waste container.

The date/time is recorded together with the user making the disposal.

From the drop-down menus the waste type and waste container number can be selected.

Mark as Waste

The user can record that a source is to be considered as a waste item, without putting it in a waste container. This is in contrast to disposing of the waste into a container (also classing it as waste) above.

A phantom container will be created in Department Waste with the same reference as the source. It can then be managed in the same way as other waste containers.

Move In/Out of Equipment

The user can record that a source is housed inside equipment or an instrument, detailing manufacturer, model no. serial no. and equipment name.

Moves in/out of the equipment can then be recorded with date/time of move and user making the move.

Free Text Note

Free text notes can be added as a transaction against individual sources with date/time and user that is adding the details/note.

Additional Detail

This option adds additional details / notes from a set of predefined templates with/or without parameters.

Select the type of note, and add the parameter values where applicable.

Attach Document

This option attaches a document to the source.

You can attach a document of any type. When viewed it will use the native viewer on the computer for that file type. eg. PDF – Adobe Reader.

IsoStock can handle image files JPG, PNG, BMP, TIFF natively and display them within the Sealed Source details.

Enter the date/time of attachment and user making the attachment. Enter the description to list on the transactions and select the file by entering the path, or by clicking on the […] and navigating to the file.

Delete This Source

You can use this option to delete a source entered by mistake.

You cannot delete sources that have transactions attached.

View Decay Table

This option provides a table showing the decayed activity for the source on a given date. The range can be selected in Days, Months, or Years.

The user can print a label with detail of the source.

The user can print the details recorded about the individual source.

Exportable to PDF/Excel/CSV/Clipboard to Excel/Word/email.

The user can print the details recorded about individual leak tests against the source. Highlight the leak test in the Transaction table.

Exportable to PDF/Excel/CSV/Clipboard to Excel/Word/email.

Show a List of Sources

Return to the list view of all of the sealed sources.
